Nutritional Supplements for Optimal Cell Function

Nutritional supplementation refers to the use of vitamins, minerals, enzymes, coenzymes, antioxidants and healthy fats to support good health and prevent or treat illness. In cases of chronic degenerative disease, nutritional supplementation supports the treatment but cannot replace it.

It is after all only a supplement and therefore can never be enough to compensate for the consequences of years of poor eating habits, a negative mindset and lack of movement or exercise. Nutritional supplements play an important role in our treatment plans.

At Healthy Healing Goa most clients are prescribed different combinations of supplements to take at home thereby supplementing the sessions that they are taking on location – to be continued after the treatment is complete.  Based on the data gained from the OligoScan for determining the overall mineral status of the body and its load of toxic heavy metals, we can now pinpoint far more accurately the body's need for certain minerals, as well as the urgency for eliminating toxic elements.

This well informed counseling is always based on each client’s unique biochemical individuality. We have seen time and again how the ingestion of the optimum level of each nutrient for each individual can have a dramatic impact on a client’s health and quality of life.

Before starting with a round of comprehensive detoxification treatments at Healthy Healing, I had been bothered with chronic constipation for nearly two years. I had put on a great deal of weight, and no matter how I tried to diet I could not lose it. I felt bloated and seemed to be retaining a lot of fluid also. I felt very tired and had very low energy. Even my thinking had turned negative and a definite level of victim consciousness had crept in… I am so impressed with the results that I plan to take more treatments in the future and intend to make regular detoxification part of my health regime. So, this only leaves me having to say “Thank You” Dr. Shikha at Healthy Healing.
